Since the first Extraction was released some years back with that cliffhanger ending fans have been looking forward to a continuation. And a continuation we got this year.

The Russos and Sam came together for this second installment and it was action-packed.

Quick Plot

Following the incident at Mumbai and the fall from the bridge Jake manages to pull out of a coma albeit injured. He takes up retirement until a new case is dropped at his feet. In need of some redemption for a past sin, he trains his body back to shape and embarks on this dangerous mission.

My Thoughts

I need a whole day to rant about Sandro because that child is the most annoying child I’ve ever encountered in a movie. First of all, what type of child is he? How does he not see that living in a prison despite being a free person is not a way of showing love and that his father is a beast? How can you watch him beat your mum several times over the years and still not know that things are not as they’re supposed to be? I was pissed watching him act like a childish idiot. If his stupidity had not even caused the death of anyone then I would have ignored it, but the fact Yas died because of him just makes it more painful.

A friend insists that he will be emotionally scarred for life, but I wish Nik had at least shot him a little. Just a little. He was so irresponsible. Jeez!😡

Idris Elba

The moment I saw him I just knew this movie would be expanded into a franchise. I can already see part 3 with Elba taking a more prominent role.

I like the action-packed pace of the movie with the shooting and fighting. The idea of including his ex-wife in the mix and also giving us a glimpse into his former life was a good idea. That’s it, though. There weren’t really any major plot or surprising scenes in the movie and one could also see that Yas would be killed off. I enjoyed it overall. Some scenes need a double take to figure out how they played out but it’s all good.

What were your best parts of the movie?

Hey, there. If you love movies, animations and tv shows then you are in the right place. I review movies and animations wittily. P.S. I’m not a critic.
