I love watching movies. I always have and I hopefully always will. I find myself using it as a medium of relaxation, entertainment and conversation starters. I learn from them. I can’t remember not liking movies. I honestly can’t.

I grew up on movies and animations like Jumaji, Pocahontas, the Lion King, The Sound of Music, Robin Hood, Peter Pan, Mummy, The Haunted Mansion, Annie, Parent Trap, Matilda, Aladdin, Cinderella, The Princess and The Frog, and so much more. The older I get, the more I fill in the blanks.

At first, I only watched movies when it was presented to me, but as I grew, I sorted them myself and for the years that I missed, I went back and watched them. It’s grown to be a very strong hobby of mine and I enjoy it so much.

What you have here is a documentation of my thoughts on movies. I’m not Rotten Tomato, Indie Wire or IMDB but I do know what I like and don’t like and what I want to share or not share. The WittyReview is a blend of two of my hobbies: writing and movie-watching.

With my reviews, I just say what I feel and sometimes I dabble into more in-depth discussions about how a scene or the plot or the entire narrative holds a valuable life lesson. Not all movies fall into this category but for those that do, I talk about it and the impact it made in my life. I am particularly fond of horror movies. I tend to favour them more but you may not see so many of the reviews and a lot of them tend to resemble each other in plot.

I also have a podcast where I do reviews but I barely talk about it and I don’t even know why. It’s still young and has like four or five reviews there so if you want to check it out, you can check for Tales and Screens, Unscripted on your various streaming platforms. I’ll work more on getting reviews there.

And that’s it. The WittyReview in the nutshell.

Hey, there. If you love movies, animations and tv shows then you are in the right place. I review movies and animations wittily. P.S. I’m not a critic.
